Following an insensitive joke about actress Jada Pinkett Smith’s balding due to alopecia condition, her husband, Oscar winning actor Will Smith, approached and hit the joke teller – Chris Rock on live TV. Screaming at the comedian to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.
Subsequent, The Talk co-host and fellow comedian Sheryl Underwood gave her thoughts on the matter, predicting the events aftermath. The actress condemned how no one seemingly rushed to check on Chris Rock following the altercation, stating:
“It depends on who you are and how heavy the fine is and how necessary you are to the commerce….Nobody stopped to check on the dude that got hit. Nobody stopped.”

“I’m gone say this as a comic, I am afraid now to get on a stage cause on my third show where everybody been drinking, if you don’t like my joke, do you now believe that you can get up and slap me?”
