MC Hammer & Wife Owe Uncle Sam A Sh*t Load of Money

According to Uncle Sam, 49-year-old MC Hammer (real name Stanley Kirk Burrell) and his wife owe a sh*t load of money in back taxes. The trouble stems from 1996 and 1997, when he filed bankruptcy, claiming $13 million in debt. In an interview, during the time of the bankruptcy, he told Ebony,

“My priorities were out of order…My priorities should have always been God, family, community, and then business. Instead they had been business, business, and business”.

Fast forward to the present day and the U.S. government suggests that he owes $779,585 and has now filed a lawsuit against the rapper and his wife. No official response from Hammer’s camp has been released. [TMZ] P.S. I’m aware that this has absolutely nothing to do w/ this story, but I can’t stop staring at his blue-tooth.
