Tamar Braxton Reveals She’s In A Good Place W/ Her Ex-Fiancé Following Their Rough Breakup & Shares Her Son Now Has Two Dads 

Tamar Braxton is giving the credit where it’s due, regardless of her past.

On Sunday (June 19) singer Tamar Braxton, 45, expressed her appreciation for all the fathers in her life while also indicating her son, Logan Herbert, has two fathers.

In the lengthy heartfelt post, Tamar Braxton said:

“Happy Father’s Day to all the men who showed up. I have an AMAZING father who loves all of his girls and SHOWS up even still today. ..&… Of course I would be the one to proudly have 2 baby daddies, except it’s for only one child. @officialvincentherbert and @david.adefeso you both do a beautiful OUTSTANDING job at showing up for @loganland8 time and time again.”

She added,

“He’s so blessed to have 2 daddies one from blood and one from spirit who loves him the same. You both have been a BIG support to not only him but me also. Thank you both for being heaven sent. Just when you think you have to do it alone, God shows up and does the work for you…. If you get out of your way and make it about the kids and not you…. Watch how God moves. I’m beyond grateful #happyfayhersday”

Vincent Herbert is Logan Herbert’s biological dad. Braxton married the music executive/her former manager, Vincent Herbert in 2008. In 2013, Braxton revealed in an interview that she was pregnant.

Braxton said:

“I feel great and greedy at the same time. This is the most I’ve eaten ever.”

As their ninth anniversary approached, Braxton filed for divorce. In 2017, Braxton took to Instagram to tell fans she’s been “living a lie.”

In a deleted Instagram post, Braxton said:

“Here is the thing,& MY truth..you don’t have to like me & while I’m woke,I can see that most of you don’t now..even when you did.?something has changed w/her..but it’s ok, because I don’t..well,didn’t like me either. I told myself I would do whatever it took to keep my family together…hoping we could offer them hope,faith,Love& dignity that I? once possessed. But the truth is all of those things are NOT within the marriage of Tamar & Vince,.at least not anymore.”

Braxton continued:

“I decided I didn’t want to be married for the sake of saying so.I wanted to have a relationship.Someone to share my/our dreams,our successes, our failures,our past,present & future with..& not finding out sh*t online. Some of us ??have been living a LIE!..& sometimes when things R shared,what’s NOT being surfaced is that he has one or several girlfriends,or she’s never home,or he’s very general when he speaks,or ‘this doesn’t sound like him’? or he’s so busy lately!!”

She concluded:

“I’m not pushing anyone out of the door..I’m just telling you what has pushed me out of mine! That LAST time was the LAST time.”

Following her divorce, Braxton moved on to date David Adefeso. The couple appeared to be madly in love until things took a negative turn in 2020. According to reports, Braxton and David Adefeso publicly disputed over an alleged domestic violence incident. At one point during their back and forth, David Adefeso reportedly got a restraining order against Tamar. The “Love And War” singer then allegedly claimed that Adefeso threatened a “murder-suicide.” 

 Adefeso also filed a cease and desist against Braxton after she accused him of cheating on her since the beginning of their relationship.
