Recently Rick Ross, born William Leonard Roberts II, took to social media to speak out after several of his wingstop locations were fined over $100,000 for labor violations. Rick Ross said:
“Ima take time to address sum.’ When you running a business there will be mistakes, but it’s the biggest boss who would never make the same mistake twice. You see? Accountability. Taking accountability when you the biggest.”
The 46-year-old rapper continued:
“Remember this, most successful people don’t take stumbling as a setback but actually a stepping stone to greater things. You heard me?”

As previously reported, Multiple of The Maybach Music founder’s Mississippi based Wingstop locations were fined a total of $114,427 due to labor violations. According to reports, fees included “back wages, liquidated damages and civil penalties.” Violations discovered by the Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division shared that the chicken wing restaurant illegally demanded that employees purchase their uniforms, training and more. Ross, his mother Tommie Roberts and his sister Tawanda Roberts are allegedly listed as the owners of Boss Wings Enterprises LLC in Mississippi where the violations were found.
