On Sunday (Sept. 11) pop star Britney Spears took to Instagram to share with her fans that they may never get the chance to see her perform live again. Prior to the now deleted post, Britney Spears wrote about the poor creative control she was under during her conservatorship. The 40-year-old said:

“…The most offensive SO CALLED professional pictures on every tour. I mean they could have at least cheated and retouched them for me … just saying … 2 day shoots for new show in Vegas literally the worst ever … and me excited for the pictures for 5 months on tour … they never showed me any. I’d rather quit shit in my pool and shoot photos of myself in studios over working with the most offensive people in my life.”

She also included that she was unhappy with the number of dancers who had been hired to perform with her during her four-year Las Vegas residency, which came to an end in 2017. She alleged the experiences left her “traumatized” and admits to being unsure if she’ll ever perform for her fans again.

Britney shared:

“I’m pretty traumatized for life and yes I’m pissed as fuck and no I won’t probably perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point.”

The singer initially closed out her post with “kiss my God d*mn mother f*ck*ng *ss.” However, she then added that she hopes her parents “burn in hell.” Britney has been in the music industry since she signed with Jive Records at the age of 15 back in 1997.

Despite possibly never performing again, In August the “Princess of Pop” released a new song with Elton John called “Hold Me Closer.”

As previously reported, Britney declared herself an atheist following the ending of her 13-year conservatorship. The Toxic singer shared she lost faith in the Lord after not receiving support from her two children, Jayden, 15, and Sean Preston,16.
