Britney Spears Declines Tell-All Oprah Winfrey Interview While Speaking Out Against Family In A 22-Minute Audio Clip: I Get Nothing Out Of Sharing All Of This

Britney Spears wants everyone to hear her story from her perspective.

In a now-deleted 22-minute audio clip, pop superstar Britney Spears took to YouTube to share the “abuse” she faced as a result of her conservatorship. On Sunday (Aug. 28) she also shared why she refused “lots of money” to do an exclusive interview with media mogul, Oprah Winfrey. Britney Spears admitted:

“I get nothing out of sharing all of this.”

The 40-year-old continued:

“I have offers to do interviews with Oprah and so many people for lots and lots of money, but it’s insane. I don’t want any of it. For me, it’s beyond a sit-down proper interview.”

In the bombshell audio, Britney explained why she felt like her family abandoned amid her conservatorship. She elaborated:

“They literally killed me. They threw me away.”

Britney shared:

“I felt like my family threw me away. I was performing for thousands of people at night in Vegas, the rush of being a performer, the laughter, the respect … I was a machine. I was a f–king machine, not even human almost. It was insane.”

The Grammy-award winner also doubled back on her previous claim that she was forced into a mental health facility back in 2019 because she objected to a dance move during one of her rehearsals. She said:

“They put me in an ignorant state of mind to make me feel like I needed them.”

She added:

“If you don’t do what we say, we’re going to show you who’s boss.”

The “Hold Me Closer” singer alleged she was forced to publicly share that she recieved treatment due to her father, Jamie Spears’ colon illness. However, she stated that she cried to her father, who was her conservator at the time, and her team. She said:

“I was, like, ‘Why are you guys doing this?’”

She continued, while explaining that her father’s last words to her were:

“Now you don’t have to go, but if you don’t go, we’re going to go to trial and you’re going to lose. I have way more people on my side than you do. You don’t even have a lawyer, so don’t even think about it.”

Britney shared feeling controlled by Jamie Spears and his co-conservators. She said:

“I was talking to a guy, and he wanted to just leave the country with me. We had it all set up to leave, and it was a secret relationship.”

She continued:

“My biggest fear was ‘What would my dad do if I did do something wrong? What if they found me? What would they do?’ … And she looked at me and said, ‘Are you kidding me, Britney? Your dad would never do that to you.’”

Even though she battled a rocky relationship with her father, Britney shared that she was more upset with her mother, Lynne Spears, hiding behind closed doors before deciding to speak up for her daughter. Britney said:

“I feel like she could have gotten me a lawyer in literally two seconds.”

The “Overprotected” singer added:

“My friend helped me get one in the end, but every time I made contact with a firm, my phone was tapped and my phone would get taken away from me.”

In Sunday’s audio clip, Britney said:

“How the f*ck did they get away with?”

She added:

“How is there a God? Is there a God? … I’m sharing this because I want people to know I’m only human. I do feel victimized after these experiences, and how can I mend this if I don’t talk about it?”
