Wendy Williams Plans To Open A Restaurant With The Help Of News Anchor Rosanna Scotto

Wendy Williams plans to extend her future endeavors to the restaurant industry.

According to PageSix’s Tashara Jones, Rosanna Scotto claims former talk show host Wendy Williams plans to open up a restaurant and would like her advice concerning the hospitality business. Rosanna Scotto has been the boss of Fresco by Scotto since 1993 which inspired Wendy Williams to open her own restaurant. In an interview, Rosanna Scotto shared:

“She loves the meatballs at Fresco.”

The “Good Day New York” co-host continued:

“And the last time I talked to her she’s like, ‘OK, Rosanna, I am coming to Fresco and I want the meatballs and then you’re going to help me open up my own restaurant.’ And I’m like, ‘What, sister, you wanna take my people away to your restaurant?”

Scotto added:

“I don’t know if she wants me to waitress or what, but she did tell me she wants to open her own restaurant and she wants me to help… If there is [a restaurant] from Wendy, it will be big competition but I love her.”

As previously reported, aside from her show being canceled after being aired for over a decade, the 58-year-old has checked into rehab for the second time following her concerning behavior due to an alleged alcohol addiction. Scotto admitted wanting to help Williams with her issues by taking her on a spa date.The 64-year-old said:

“A spa day… is always a good thing. A little massage and some girl time. Just some down time. No fancy clothes and make-up. Just a good girls’ time.”

The news personality continued:

“We are cool, but it’s hard for me to talk about her sometimes. I try not to. When there’s something that I don’t really want to talk about on air I kind of excuse myself from it.”
