Sheree Whitfield Will Not Lower ‘She By Shereé’ Prices Following Backlash For Seemingly Selling Fast Fashion Items, Says Customers Get Better Quality From Her Company Compared To Other Brands
Shereé Whitfield is not here for fans trying to ‘check her’ on her fashion brand’s pricing.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently revived her infamous She By Shereé collection during the 14th season of the reality show. However, with the adoration came much speculation about the pricing of her athleisure line. Her higher-priced line was compared with nearly- identical lower-priced clothing on SHEIN and Amazon, two online clothing stores.
When recently asked at this year’s Bravocon if she plans to lower her prices, Shereé Whitfield responded,
“My joggers and the pieces that I have, you compare them to some of the other brands — I don’t want to say names — but some of the fast fashion you see on Instagram, you’re not getting quality.”

Since Shereé Whitfield debuted her long-awaited line on Bravo over the summer, comparisons to fashion items available on SHEIN and Amazon have poured in. Fans found similar designs and lower prices on the websites ranging from $7 to $40. However, the She By Shereé designer says there is no comparison to the quality fabrics shoppers get with her line. Shereé Whitfield insists customers should instead purchase her She By Shereé graphic t-shirts ($82), select hoodies ($262), and joggers ($162-$182). She said,
“I defend it because you’re getting quality. You can wash these things, really wear them and they hold up.”
She explained that it’s all in the details,
“That’s not cheap. And we’re also doing a lot of customization — meaning puff prints, stitching, embroidery, all of that. I really am putting a lot into this and I need people to know that.”
In a previous interview, Shereé responded to critics who were more concerned that she was selling the same items as SHEIN.
Shereé added,
“You know what? This isn’t the first time that this has been done. I don’t understand why people hold me to a different, you know, degree than everybody else. Any of these online boutiques, a lot of these stores you go to, a lot of designers, it’s called private label. They’re not necessarily designing every garment in their line and some are not designing any of them.”

Despite the pushback, She By Shereé reportedly received a warm reception from fans at Bravocon 2022. The designer’s booth was buzzing with Bravo-holics who wanted to be draped in She By Shereé.
“The fans have been going crazy for the She By Shereébooth here at BravoCon and it feels good. Sales are doing amazing.”
