Fans are speculating that Monica and Kodak Black are dating!

While celebrating her birthday this week, Monica posted a photo of herself sitting inside a Maybach with the caption “On a date kinda nervous,” alongside a winking emoji. Fans quickly began to question who the mystery man was, which turned out to be Kodak Black.

She later shared a selfie of them together as she held a blue Birkin bag while Kodak Black held a large amount of cash in his hand. She captioned the post,

“THANK YOUUUUU,”

Seemingly insinuating that the rapper purchased her the Birkin bag as a birthday gift.

The birthday post fuels previous speculation that the two are romantically linked to one another. Earlier this month, Kodak shared a video of himself cruising around with Monica in the backseat as they listened to some R&B music. Days later, the “Super Gremlin” rapper pulled up to her concert and surprised her on stage with a bouquet of flowers.

As no surprise, Twitter had a field day and quickly began to speculate and share their opinion. Many were in shock and seemingly against the pair dating. However, some weren’t entirely surprised by it.

One user wrote,

“In a world where Faith Evans married Stevie J and Toni Braxton got engaged to Birdman, it isn’t insane at all to think Monica would be dating Kodak Black.”

Another person said,

“Now y’all know know Monica ain’t leaving c murder…find y’all somebody to play with.”

When it comes to dating, Kodak Black is seemingly low-key. However, He was once engaged to his ex-fiance Mellow Rackz, and was previously linked to Jayda Cheaves and Cuban Doll.

Monica on the other hand has been in some very public relationships. She was engaged to rapper Rocko and dated him from 2005-2009. She later married former basketball player Shannon Brown and was with him from 2010-2019. Many fans recall the “Angel Of Mine” singer dating rapper C-Murder. The two dated when Monica was a teenager, and have remained close friends over the years, however, some believe it’s much more than friendship.
