Lizzo Hints At Wanting To Marry Boyfriend Myke Wright: There’s Nobody Else I’m Going To Be w/ For The Rest Of My Life

It looks like Lizzo is deeply in love and sees a serious future with boyfriend Myke Wright!

During a recent interview on The Howard Stern Show, Lizzo gushed about her relationship and revealed things are very serious between her and Myke Wright.

She said,

“We’re not playing any games with each other anymore. We’re very much locked in.”

Wright and Lizzo first met when they co-hosted the MTV show Wonderland together back in 2016. While there was chemistry between the two, the ‘Truth Hurts’ singer says it wasn’t the right time for her to pursue a relationship.

“I had a lot of sh*t to do, and I still was very much in my ‘I feel un-loveable’ place, and I still was very much not where I wanted to be career-wise. Even if a person came around that I was googly gaga about, I had these wild defenses up that made it almost impossible for a true, intimate relationship to occur.”

When Howard Stern questioned if Lizzo would marry the comedian/actor one day, the singer responded with a smile and a laugh before she declared,

“There’s nobody else I’m going to be with for the rest of my life.”

However, it appears Lizzo was singing a different tune in a July interview on ‘The Breakfast Club.’ At the time, she revealed that her relationship with Myke Wright wasn’t monogamous and that it taught her to be open to love. She also said that traditional relationships scare her, but she can love someone for a lifetime. She explained,

“I think a traditional relationship scares me for 10 years, but love is forever. I can love somebody forever. Monogamy, I think to me, is a little claustrophobic — I think because there’s the rules. I think a love relationship that’s not monogamous has no rules.”

She continued,

” I think people who do poly and all that stuff, there’s still rules. … I don’t want any rules. But that doesn’t mean I’m out here f*cking and s*cking and ducking, it doesn’t mean he is either. It just means that like, there are no expectations, and that way, the love gets to just be the main event.”

Lizzo and Wright sparked romance rumors when they were spotted having dinner together in L.A. on Valentine’s Day, however they were linked sometime before that. In October 2021, Lizzo and her beau were spotted together at Crustacean Beverly Hills.

Since then, Wright has accompanied the ‘About Damn Time’ singer to a handful of events, including the FYC event for her Amazon Prime Video series, ‘Watch Out for the Big Grrrls,’ and the 2022 VMAs.
