‘RHOSLC’ Star Jen Shah’s Telemarketing Scheme Victim Claims To Have Suffered From Heart Attacks Due To The TV Personality Scamming Her Out Of Money: My Overall Health Is Forever Changed
A 60-year-old woman is demanding that ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star Jen Shah pay the full price for what she allegedly did to her.
If you didn’t know, this past July, Jen Shah pled guilty to money-swindling after she was suspected to be the ring leader of a nationwide telemarketing scheme. The notorious scam reportedly targeted hundreds of elderly individuals, and because of the heinous crime, she was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
Jen Shah’s sentencing date has been set for January 6, 2023, and she’s facing up to 14 years behind bars. During a recent episode of ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,’ the 49-year-old revealed that she had been suicidal amid the legal situation, which ultimately led to a hospital visit.
However, one of her unnamed victims seemingly has no sympathy for Shah and is severely struggling due to her hefty debt that was acquired following the Housewife and her unruly coin-collecting circus.
According to RadarOnline, the woman gave an emotional statement in her letter to the judge, and it’s in her wishes that Shah receives the entire 14-year sentence and runs her the cash she’s cost her.
She argued that Shah’s immoral acts had not only put a massive strain on her bank account but on her well-being… as a whole.
The accuser wrote,
“Not only has [Shah’s] actions caused financial stress for me, I have suffered emotional and physical stress due to her actions as ell. My overall health is forever changed.”
Apparently, the Bravolite, along with her “team,” were aiding others in launching their own websites to sell an array of products that would generate a lucrative income. Shah’s alleged prey said that she continued to provide a fee while trusting their word that the business would soon offer a promising potential. Eventually, she realized that there was no profit to show for it, and she accumulated over $30,000 in debt.
She told the court:
“Sleeping at night became increasingly difficult because I was constantly worried about my finances. I only had a small pension. It was not enough to pay my mortgage, utilities, household expenses, [and] monthly credit card payments across four different accounts.”
The woman ultimately suffered a heart attack but still pursued a career at Shah’s company until she experienced another heart attack, which was supposedly a result of her financial frenzy.
“I believe that I should receive full restitution from Jennifer Shah to cover the entire amount that I invested and lost as a result of her fraudulent activities.”
She’s asking for double what she was gypped out of.
Shah has yet to respond to the claims publicly.
Over a week ago, she took to her Instagram account to announce that she would not be attending the reunion show for ‘The Real Housewives Salt Lake City’ after Bravo’s initial de-invitation.
“I was informed by Bravo executives that I was not invited to attend Season 3 Reunion. I was disappointed because I would have no venue to confront inaccuracies and address my storyline with cast members.”
She continued,
“Two and a half weeks ago, I was invited to attend. I was elated to learn I would no have a voice at the reunion. I was clear with Bravo that out of respect for the courts and a standing judicial order, I would not be in a position to discuss anything related to my legal case or sentencing.”
Shah concluded with:
“Bravo found this unsatisfactory and said they expected to discuss this ‘storyline.’ That expectation has no regard for me or my family’s well-being; so under legal advice, I will not be attending reunion. I need to focus on the most important thing in my life–my family.”
