Law Roach Gives Fans Relief After Clarifying His Relationship w/ Zendaya Isn’t ‘Fake Industry Love’ Following His Retirement Announcement: ‘We Are Forever’
Renowned celebrity stylist Law Roach is somewhat clearing the air, as many fans have questions after he abruptly announced his retirement from the fashion industry on Monday (March 14).
He’s received much praise for his work styling actresses like Zendaya, Kerry Washington, and Anya Taylor-Joy. So with the sudden and cryptic nature of Law Roach’s announcement, many fans hopped on Twitter and TikTok – not only to discuss his impact in the fashion world but also – to find any kind of evidence that may explain his decision to leave the industry.

Many fans, who believe he and Zendaya are a power duo, even questioned the status of their relationship and if she had anything to do with his retirement. Some have also placed blame on the luxury brand LVMH.
Shortly before he retired, a video circulated online of Zendaya and Law Roach attending an LVMH fashion show together. Zendaya had a front-row seat next to the CEO of LVMH’s daughter, however, Law seemingly wasn’t given a spot next to the “Euphoria” star. Fans also discovered that Anya Taylor-Joy got a deal with Dior – who is also owned by LVMH – and suddenly Roach was no longer her stylist.

It seems Roach got word of some of the commotion being discussed and he decided to address one part of it – his relationship with Zendaya.
In his first tweet, he wrote,
“So y’all really think I’m breaking up with Z….. we are forever!,
followed by another, she said,
“She’s my little sister and it’s real love not the fake industry love.”
To seal the deal he added a third tweet with a gif from the movie “Color Purple.” The gif was of the scene where the two sisters Ceily and Nettie are singing “me and you must never part” in a field. He tweeted,
“Literally me and Zendaya…..”

While many are relieved to know that he and Zendaya’s relationship has not been disturbed, others are still saddened and puzzled by his decision to retire.
His original message came with a plain photo with large red letters that spelled out the word “RETIRED.” He gave a general thank you message to everyone that let him style them. But then hinted at the reason why he was stepping away from the world of fashion. He wrote,
“If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not! The politics , the lies and false narratives finally got me! You win … I’m out.”
