Gabrielle Union To Star In & Executive Produce ‘Pretty Little Wife’ Amazon Series
Gabrielle Union will reportedly star as the prime suspect in a murder mystery at Amazon’s Prime Video.
According to reports, the 50-year-old actress will star in “Pretty Little Wife,” a series adaptation in the works from A+E Studios and Amazon Studios. The thriller is based on Darby Kane’s best-selling suspense novel of the same name.
In addition to starring, Gabrielle Union will executive produce via her I’ll Have Another Productions.

Based on the book, “Pretty Little Wife” is “a cat-and-mouse thriller with a pulpy edge and some sexy soap that centers around two brilliant — and very different — Black women: Lily (Union), the pretty little wife suspected of murdering her husband, and Ginny, the detective on the case. Upon entering each other’s lives, they begin to crack open each other’s facade to reveal what really lies beneath.”

The project is reportedly the latest book adaptation for Prime Video.
As far as Gabrielle Union’s latest work on-screen, she most recently starred in the third and final season of the Apple drama series “Truth Be Told.” Her past TV credits include leading the “Bad Boys” spinoff “LA’s Finest” and “Being Mary Jane.”
In film, Gabrielle is known for her role in “Bring It On,” “Love and Basketball,” “Sleepless,” “Top Five,” and “Think Like a Man” and “Think Like a Man Too.”
