Bennifer just dropped some major dough to live the good life in California.

Longtime lovers Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck spent nearly two years looking for their dream home before spending $60.85 million for an extravagant Beverly Hills estate on Wednesday (May 31). The couple reportedly paid cash for their brand-new 38,000-square-foot residence, which features 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms.

The house was on the market for $135 million in 2018 before being reduced to $75 million earlier this year and the listing boasts “magnificent mountain views.” It adds,

“Exquisitely designed and built with impeccable taste, the sophisticated and stylish estate infuses today’s technology with refined rooms.”

Jennifer Lopez might have been lured to the home’s “one-of-a-kind indoor sports complex,” which includes a full gym, basketball, and pickleball courts. The sports complex also features a boxing ring, and a sports lounge and bar. In addition, there’s a zero-edge pool, a guest apartment, a caretaker’s residence, a 12-car garage, and enough space to park 80 vehicles.

For frequent travelers like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, the location—eight minutes from the Beverly Hills Hotel and 20 minutes from the Van Nuys Airport—is ideal.

There’s also the bonus of top-notch security, which is provided by a two-bedroom guardhouse. It is referred to in the listing as “one of the most secure and private estates in Beverly Hills.”

Paparazzi snapped pictures of the couple’s furniture being hauled into the home on the same day the transaction closed.

As for their love story leading up to this moment, Lopez and Affleck initially dated from 2002 to 2004 before going their separate ways. They rekindled their romance in May 2021, a month after J.Lo called it quits with Alex Rodriguez.

The couple eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022. Lopez shares 15-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. Her Oscar-winning other half has three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner: Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11.

Bennifer‘s purchase follows that of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, who recently purchased the most expensive home [ever] in the Golden State for a whopping $200 million. However, in their case, it’ll serve as a weekend home — nothing too crazy.
