Floyd Mayweather Claims He Witnessed Tupac Shakur’s Death In Recently Resurfaced Video: ‘I Ain’t Never Told Nobody’

Floyd Mayweather has claimed he witnessed the murder of Tupac Shakur!

In a resurfaced clip from 2014, the retired boxer revealed that he was living across the street from where the rapper was gunned down in September 1996.

Mayweather said in the video,

“They shot 2Pac at this light and the car went that way. I was living right here in 1996 when 2Pac got killed. I ain’t never told nobody. Only the closest people with me know.”

At the time of the footage, Floyd Mayweather was helping late director John Singleton do research for a film on Tupac – stage name 2Pac.

Floyd Mayweather previously spoke about his admiration for Tupac during a red carpet interview at the premiere of the late rapper’s All Eyez On Me biopic in 2017.

He said,

“2Pac was a great artist, [he] had great music. I love his music. Inspirational and he was a genius.”

This resurfaced clip comes days after police searched a home as part of an investigation into Tupac’s death.

According to reports, the home belongs to a Crips gang member – Duane “Keefy D” Davis, 60 – who said he was in the car from which the fatal shots were fired at Tupac. Authorities were reportedly looking for Davis’ laptops and other electronic devices. In addition, the warrant also said investigators searched for,

“notes, writings, ledgers, and other handwritten or typed documents concerning television shows, documentaries, YouTube episodes, book manuscripts, and movies concerning the murder of Tupac Shakur.”

It’s important to note that Tupac’s suspected killer Orlando Anderson was Davis’ nephew who later passed away in a gang-related shooting in Los Angeles in 1998. Following the “Juice” actor’s death, Davis was investigated by both the LAPD and Las Vegas Metro PD and denied having any connections to the murder. However, he’s since done numerous interviews about being a witness the night of the shooting.

Tupac Shakur was murdered while riding as a passenger in a BMW in Las Vegas alongside Suge Knight. A car pulled up at a stop light and fired into the BMW hitting the entertainer four times, including once in the chest. He was taken to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, where he died six days later.  

The murder of Tupac remains a source of fascination and speculation to this day.
