Nicki Minaj Says She Has Written Her Greatest Song Yet For Her Upcoming Album Pink Friday 2: ‘The World Needs This’
It looks like Nicki Minaj is in awe of herself.
The Queens native recently took to Twitter and shared that she has written the greatest song of her career.
She said,
“The greatest song I’ve ever written. My goodness. Opened the vault & played it last night & the reaction >>>”
She continued,
“My babies have to have this. The world needs this. Trees will grow. Y’all I’m in love. I’m not kidding y’all.”

Nicki Minaj then responded to a fans comment and called the song a “classic.”
She wrote,
“And you can bet me all the money in the world on this one boo. I’m being so serious right now yo wow. This is what TF my babies fkng deserve. And y’all know I don’t throw out certain terms loosely. But “classic” is the word. Hits galore. But “classic” is the word.”

The “Barbie World” rapper later replied to another fan who called the mystery song a “cultural reset.”
She said,
“Babe the shift that will happen can’t even be referred to as that overused social media jargon. Honestly. After too many resets, one needs to throw the whole appliance in the garbage bin & order a brand new sparkling shiny one that works better, faster & looks better too.”

In June, the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper revealed that she was pushing back her album release date to November. Earlier that month, Minaj told her followers that her forthcoming album would be released on 10/20/23 – however, it appears things quickly changed.
In addition to announcing a new release date, she also revealed the album will be called ” Pink Friday 2” – a sweet nod to her 2010 debut album Pink Friday, which featured hit songs like “Moment 4 Life,” “Fly,” and “Your Love.”
Once the album is released, it will stand as Nicki Minaj‘s first studio album in over five years. The last album she released was “Queen” in 2018. The album featured singles “Chun-Li,” “Barbie Dreams,” and “FEFE.”
