Brittish Williams Pens Message To Young Daughter After Being Sentenced To 4 Years In Prison For Fraud

Brittish Williams is always going to be there for her daughter, no matter what.

Yesterday (Oct. 24) the former “Basketball Wives” star was sentenced after pleading guilty to multiple fraud-related felonies. As previously reported, she was charged with five counts of misuse of a Social Security number, four counts of bank fraud, three counts of making false statements to the IRS, and three counts of wire fraud. Initially, reports said Brittish Williams was looking at 30 years in prison for bank fraud, 20 years for wire fraud, and “up to five years each for the five charges of misusing a Social Security number.” However, during sentencing, Brittish Williams was ultimately given four years behind bars. In addition, she’ll have to pay $564,069 in restitution and be on supervised release for five years once she’s released from prison.

Williams has yet to speak directly about her crimes or repercussions, but she did share a post dedicated to her young daughter this morning (Oct. 25). The 33-year-old uploaded an adorable picture of herself with her child, Dash Dior, 5, and captioned the post,

“Forever me and you”

Even though Williams hasn’t said anything about the sentencing, it’s seemingly safe to say that her loved ones aren’t too pleased with the time she’ll have to serve. When leaving the courthouse yesterday, after learning her fate, someone from Williams’ entourage launched at a reporter who was filming their exit. It’s unclear why the unknown woman threatened to hit the reporter, as they were seemingly standing at a nice distance from the TV star. But after the woman approached the filmer, someone else from Williams’ posse yelled,

“Stop, before you be in the case!”
