Wale’s Team Denies Reports That Diddy Held Him Over A Balcony For Working w/ His Ex Cassie
Wale is seemingly speaking out following reports that Diddy held him over a balcony for being too close to his ex-girlfriend Cassie.
As we previously covered, Diddy and Cassie have made major headlines after the R&B singer filed a lawsuit accusing the music mogul of rape, physical abuse, and sex trafficking during their relationship.

According to court documents, Diddy, 54, repeatedly drugged, beat, and forced his ex/former artist Cassie, 37, to have sex with male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters. The former lovers reached a settlement just one day after the suit was filed by the “Me & U” singer.

In her complaint, Cassie also mentioned that Diddy once dangled a companion over a 17th-floor hotel balcony for working with her allegedly against his wishes. Amid the details of the suit circulating the internet, a video resurfaced of DMV rapper-turned-YouTuber Ant Glizzy claiming to have witnessed rapper Wale, 39, as the person Diddy hung over the balcony.

The “Lotus Flower Bomb” rapper appeared to address the claims in recent posts to his X account (formerly known as Twitter). In the since-deleted posts, he responded to a user who said people only care about putting a story out and not how it can impact someone. Wale wrote,
“Wild times…”
The entertainer added,
“The slow demise of authentic journalism … I use to pray for gullible … now I’m scared of em”

Wale
According to a recent report, Wale’s team denied the incident ever took place. The rapper’s management said,
“It’s a shame that a complete fabrication has gotten this far and that we have to dignify it with a response.”
They continued, shutting down the allegations that the billionaire businessman assaulted Wale and even stating that he’s never met Cassie. While referring to “The Five Heartbeats” film which features a record label owner hanging one of his artists over a balcony, they expressed,
“It is a fantasy written by an outsider to exploit a viral story for clicks… the author must have watched The Five Heartbeats on basic cable and got inspired. They have never been in the same room as the people mentioned. Wale has never met Cassie or the author and was never involved in any type of altercation. He wishes peace for everyone involved in the settlement.”
Wale’s team emphasized that any media publication sharing the story is spreading fake news. In addition, they said they appreciate
“any outlet dedicated to factual reporting.”
