Diddy’s Record Company Bad Boy Entertainment & Its Former President Harve Pierre Named In Sexual Assault & Negligence Lawsuit
Music mogul Diddy’s company Bad Boy Entertainment is one of a few defendants recently named in a new sexual assault lawsuit.
In a court filing submitted by Jane Doe, longtime Bad Boy exec Harve Pierre is reportedly accused of grooming, sexual assault, and harassment by his former assistant.

According to reports, the plaintiff is arguing that Harve Pierre used his position to undesirably pursue her “on multiple occasions in New York City and other locations throughout the country,” while she worked for him between 2016 and 2017. During this time, the plaintiff says she was sexually assaulted by the exec several times, and has suffered physical, emotional, and psychological injuries because of it. She reportedly claims in the official lawsuit:
“Pierre used his position of authority as plaintiff’s boss to groom, exploit, and sexually assault her…Pierre engaged in a year-long pattern of grooming plaintiff, leading to sexual harassment of plaintiff, and sexual assault.”

The unnamed individual is reportedly seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. The legal doc notes that she’s suing for a number that will “fully and fairly compensate” her pain and suffering. At this time it doesn’t appear that Pierre has responded to the accusations. However, Bad Boy Entertainment, which is also being sued for negligence and gender violence, has. The company, owned by Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs, reportedly says in an official statement:
“We have recently become aware of a lawsuit filed in New York by a former employee. The allegations are from many years ago that were never brought to the attention of the company. Neither the plaintiff nor the executive are current employees of the company. We are now investigating the allegations, and our top priority is the safety and well-being of our employees.”

Reportedly, the individual says that the company is at fault because they should have better supervised Pierre and “should have known” that he was unfit to be in a position of authority. According to LinkedIn, Pierre started at the company back in 1992 and worked his way up to eventually become its president until the end of 2017. It’s unclear whether or not his departure from the company has anything to do with his former assistant’s accusations. However, his exit reportedly happened around the same time as the alleged crime.

It doesn’t appear that Diddy has spoken publicly about the case just yet either, nor has he spoken about his own. As we’ve been covering, the “Gotta Move On” artist was named in a separate suit filed by his ex Cassie that accused him of years of ongoing sexual assault, sex trafficking, and physical abuse. Both cases were reportedly filed as part of a New York legislation that allows a one-year window for victims of sexual violence to file their grievances civilly, even if the statute of limitations has passed. The deadline for filing is coming up on the 24th of this month.

Though Pierre’s case is still ongoing, Cassie and Diddy quickly settled their matter for an undisclosed amount.
