Ludacris Lands BET+ Dramedy Series Inspired By His Life
BET+ has teamed up with Ludacris to create a series inspired by the entertainer’s life.
According to reports, the unnamed project pulls directly from Chris “Ludacris” Bridges,’
“experience coming up in the competitive music scene in Atlanta as DJ Chris Lova Lova, the series follows the misadventures of a sharply drawn ensemble who are willing to do anything and everything to bolster ratings at their hip hop radio station.”

Ludacris
Ludacris has yet to say much about the half-hour dramedy series, which is currently in the development stage, however, he did share a news article about his latest accomplishment to Instagram with the caption,
“Inspired By My Real Life Journey Coming Up In The Competitive Music Scene In Atlanta as Radio Personality Chris Lova Lova – Stay tuned”

Reportedly, Ludacris will serve as an executive producer alongside others, including comedian Noah Gardenswartz –who will write the script – and his Disturbing Tha Peace Records co-founder/manager Chaka Zulu.

Chaka Zulu, Ludacris
Ludacris will also be the series’ music supervisor. No word just yet on if we’ll see the “Stand Up” rapper in front of the camera. However, he’s no stranger to acting so it should come as no surprise if we do. As you may already know Ludacris stars as Tej Parker in the “Fast and the Furious” franchise. He made his first appearance as the character in 2003 for “2 Fast 2 Furious.” Ludacris has many other acting credits under his belt, with his most recent project, “Dashing Through the Snow,” debuting in November 2023.
