Ludacris Announces “Fast & Furious 9” Premiere Date
The next installment into the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise is beginning filming ahead of its 2020 slated premiere date. Ludacris, who has starred in the initial film in 2001, shared a photo with Vin Diesel and “Orange Is The New Black” actress Ruby Rose to tease production, which is scheduled to start in February in London. Ludacris also shared a photo prior to that with the premiere date of the impending “Fast & Furious 9.”

Diesel shared a video Thursday regarding the film beginning it’s filming next month.

While the storyline of the film has not been revealed, Justin Lin returns as the director. It isn’t clear if Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson or Jason Statham will be returning for the ninth installment. According to reports, Lin became a staple in the franchise after the success of “Fast & Furious,” “The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift,” “Fast Five,” and “Fast & Furious 6.”
“Fast & Furious 9” is expected to premiere April 10, 2020.
