Rihanna Trends As Fans React To Her Talking & Posing For Photos w/ Cardi B At An Event: ‘I Hope A Song Is Coming’

Two of music’s biggest stars were out and about in Hollywood recently and the internet has been buzzing since.

Pop superstar Rihanna was trending across social media earlier today (Wednesday, March 27th) as users reacted to her talking it up with rap star Cardi B.

The musicians attended a charity event hosted by Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee. As videos show, Rihanna and Cardi B were seated at the same table together along with hotel heiress Paris Hilton.

At one point during the event, Rihanna is seen dancing as Cardi performed one of her original hits “Bodak Yellow.” The billionaire Fenty owner jammed from her seat as everyone recorded videos and enjoyed the show. Despite the stage being smaller than what she’s seemingly used to, Cardi still put on an energetic performance that appeared to have had attendees getting out of their seats to dance along.

What fans were most excited to see, however, was the moment Rihanna and Cardi talked and posed for pictures together. The celebrities were all smiles during the moment that ended with Rihanna embracing Cardi with a hug. After videos from the event began to circulate online, social media users certainly had quite a bit to say.

Some users chimed in bringing rap star Nicki Minaj into the mix, though she was noticeably not in attendance. Commenters questioned if Rihanna – a famous friend of Minaj – has quietly switched her alliance to Cardi B, one of Minaj’s longtime rap rivals. However, one commenter chastised Minaj’s fan base, known as the Barbz, arguing that they shouldn’t read too much into the situation, writing:

“Pls barbz Rihanna can have other friends to lol”

Others commented that Rihanna didn’t pay much mind to Cardi. A few even blasted Cardi for, in their opinion, looking like she was waiting to have a moment with the singer. One commenter, however, was just hoping to get a Rihanna x Cardi collab out of the situation.
