Per the suit, the company, Teak Warehouse, claims their deal began on June 21, 2023, in which Tristan Thomson was given furniture for his California mansion. In exchange for the household items, the basketball star allegedly agreed to provide photos of the Teak Warehouse furniture in his backyard, editorial exposure in the magazine Architectural Digest, and a minimum of one Instagram Story shared to his IG account crediting the company.
In the complaint, the company states Tristan Thomson received over 15 outdoor chairs, one outdoor sofa, two coffee tables, two chess side tables, an outdoor club chair, four sun loungers, and a side table, along with other items. According to the agreement, Thompson was given until December 2023 to share his social media posts and land an editorial feature.
The suit also notes that Thompson allegedly failed to provide the services after it was revealed he’s been taking performance-enhancing drugs, claiming,
“[Thompson] was suspended for 25 games after testing positive for ibutamoren, and failed to provide services as per the agreement.”

The company is suing Thompson for breach of contract and unjust enrichment. They’re seeking $53,173 in damages.
Thompson has yet to respond to the lawsuit in court.
