Lil Baby & His Team Were Not Involved In Shooting In Atlanta During Filming For Music Video, His Rep Says
Lil Baby’s team is speaking out after shots were fired and three people were injured at a video shoot. A spokesperson for the 29-year-old rapper told The Shade Room that he nor his production crew were involved.
Three men were shot at the video shoot near Verbena Street in northwest Atlanta on Tuesday (May 14), around 4:50 pm, authorities said, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.
One man, 24, was shot in the arm while another man, 27, was shot in the back. Both were treated at a nearby hospital. Later, authorities learned that a third man, 23, was shot in the neck and drove himself to the hospital. They were all said to be alert and conscious.
Major Ralph Woolfolk said,
“The people who were shot were not part of the video production team but there may have been individuals involved in the totality of the production.”
Fans speculated that Lil Baby was the one shooting the video.
In a video of the incident captured by a nearby eatery, Lil Baby is seen outside of a strip mall in the Dixie Hills neighborhood as SUVs and luxury cars pull up.
The footage was taken before the shooting, and the shots were said to be fired after the video wrapped.
