Mike Tyson’s Rep Says He’s ‘Doing Great’ Following Flight Health Scare
Boxing legend Mike Tyson is recovering from a health scare that occurred during a flight from Miami to Los Angeles.
A representative for the 57-year-old boxer informed media outlets on Monday, May 27th,
“Thankfully, Mr. Tyson is doing great after experiencing nausea and dizziness due to an ulcer flare-up just before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”
The incident took place aboard an American Airlines flight a day prior, where a call for a doctor was made and paramedics assisted Mike Tyson.
Despite the flare-up, Mike Tyson remains scheduled to participate in an upcoming boxing match against Jake Paul, slated to air live on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, July 20.
In a statement made through Netflix a few months ago, Tyson said,
“I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas … He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT. It’s a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch.”

We wish Mike Tyson a speedy recovery. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
