Bobby Lytes, real name Bobby Nico Wade, spoke about the matter in a post uploaded to his X (formerly Twitter) account, where he wrote:
“No more bl*w. I’m good off that substance. Since putting it down, I’ve gained more clarity. Skin has improved even more. I also have saved soooooo much money,”

Continuing, the Love & Hip Hop Miami alum claimed that he’s also been refraining from drinking alcohol, though he acknowledged that might change soon.
“I’ve also been sober from Alcohol for a while now but I feel that may change this year, maybe around my bday but hey everything is in moderation and I’m proud of myself.”
In case you’re unfamiliar, Bobby Lytes, cousin of rap star Trina, rose to prominence after premiering on the Florida-based spin-off of the VH1 series in 2018. The entertainer, who has a background in rap, quickly became a villainous fan favorite as people related to his complicated relationships with several of his on-screen peers.
Additionally, Lytes played a bit of an underdog role in the series as an openly gay man fighting against homophobic subsets of the rap community, in hopes of making a name for himself. After stepping down from a main cast member following season 3 of L&HHM, Lytes has gone on to pursue other ventures such as acting and modeling gigs. He’s also amassed quite a fan base over the years and boasts over 1 million followers on Instagram alone. Reacting to his recent revelation, many of Lytes’ supporters showed him love and left words of encouragement on his new journey.

Lytes’ decision to become sober comes ahead of his debut on E! Network’s House Of Villains. The second season of the reality game show series is set to air this fall and will also star Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard, Omarosa, Tanisha Thomas and more.
