Lauryn Hill & The Fugees Abruptly Cancel Tour Days Before First Concert

Lauryn Hill and the Fugees will no longer be hitting the road together. Their tour, which was set to kick off Friday (Aug. 9) in Tampa, has been canceled. Ticketmaster has listed each tour stop as “Cancelled” and will give refunds to those who purchased tickets.

The reason for the cancellation has not been provided, and representatives for Lauryn Hill and the tour promoter, Live Nation, have not commented at this time. Other stops included Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Hollywood. The U.S. leg of the tour was set to end in New Jersey on Sept. 21, before the group headed to Europe in October. The final show was set for Hamburg in Germany on Nov. 1. However, it looks like that’s not happening as of now.
