Reports state that Eligio Bishop was involved in a brawl that resulted in a trip to the Macon State Prison hospital this past Wednesday (August 7th), where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been discharged from the medical center and has returned to prison to serve out his life sentence.
In case you’re unfamiliar, Eligio Bishop was arrested after being accused of running a cult in DeKalb County called CarbonNation, and raping a member when she tried to leave in 2022. Investigators claimed Bishop subsequently posted revenge porn online of his victim after she successfully left the group.

A trial that ended back in March found Bishop guilty on charges of rape, false imprisonment, and sharing three pieces of sexually explicit content on social media. He was sentenced to life behind bars without the possibility of parole. The report notes that there is an ongoing investigation into the prison attack at this time.
