Nicki Minaj Settles Lawsuit w/Blogger Who Alleged She Was A ‘Cokehead’, Defendant Banned From Speaking About The Rapper Again Or Will Face A $50K Fine Per Offense
Rap superstar Nicki Minaj has settled one of her lawsuits against an internet blogger.
Reports state that the musician did not receive a monetary award as part of the agreement, but did get insurance in case the defendant ever attempts to speak about her again.

A judge ruled that gossip blogger Marley Green, also known by her social media monicker Nosey Heaux, had to make an apology for false statements she made about Nicki Minaj and barred her from ever mentioning the rapper in her content again. As you may recall the “Everybody” artist, real name Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, sued the commentator back in 2022 after Marley Green accused her of using cocaine and made concerning comments about her then 1-year-old son.

Though Minaj was seeking for $75,000 in damages, the judge ordered that Green instead needed to apologize for her comments – which she partially did publicly shortly after news of the lawsuit surfaced – acknowledge what she said was untruthful, and sign a contract agreeing not to speak on Minaj nor her family anymore. It’s noted in the report that Green completed everything required, and also agreed to pay a $50,000 fine per offense if she breaches any of the settlement terms listed below.

It does not appear that Minaj has spoken about settling the suit publicly at this time. Green, however, had to ask listeners to stop asking about Minaj during a recent Instagram live session and made it clear that no hate towards the rapper would be tolerated on her page.
