Jennifer Williams & Christian Gold’s Paris Wedding Draws Attention After Fans Notice Her ‘Basketball Wives’ Co-Stars Were Absent

Jennifer Williams & Christian Gold’s Paris Wedding Draws Attention After Fans Notice Her ‘Basketball Wives’ Co-Stars Were Absent
Jennifer Williams’ Paris wedding had everyone talking, but it seems her Basketball Wives co-stars missed the festivities.
The reality TV star and her fiancé, Christian Gold, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Paris over the weekend. The couple’s nuptials were an intimate affair, featuring notable attendees such as radio host Angela Yee and reality TV producer Carlos King. However, despite the high-profile nature of the event, none of Jennifer Williams’ Basketball Wives co-stars were in attendance.

The absence of any of Jennifer Williams’ co-stars has fueled speculation and concern among fans, especially since the wedding took place amid a backdrop of controversy.
Christian Gold, who was sentenced to 15 days in jail for a probation violation, was granted permission to attend the wedding before resuming his sentence. His legal issues, including a prior conviction for false imprisonment, came under scrutiny when he claimed on Basketball Wives that his restitution was nearly $250,000—an amount that raised doubts among viewers. Gold and his attorney later clarified that the actual restitution was $12,500.
Jennifer Williams’ decision to proceed with the wedding despite the controversy has sparked mixed reactions, with some even questioning whether Gold is using her for financial gain.

Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada seemingly expressed concern through cryptic Instagram posts, writing:
“When God gives you warning signs, it’s not to hurt you, but to protect you from greater pain.”

She continued,
“When you turn a deaf ear to God’s warnings, you might find yourself walking into the very danger He was trying to save you from.”
Despite the drama, Gold recently took to Instagram to share a heartfelt birthday message for Williams and express his excitement for their new chapter:
“I’m happy to call you my wife and I’m even more ecstatic to be your husband. You messed around and got married and had a birthday the same time in your favorite city. Cheers to being the most beautiful human being God has ever created.”

Jennifer, who starred in the original installment of Basketball Wives in Miami, was previously married to former NBA star Eric Williams. They married in 2007 and she filed for divorce in 2011.
