Quavo Ordered To Pay Nearly $700,000 In Damages For Slapping Valet Driver In 2018
Rap star Quavo’s recent courtroom loss will cost him close to a million dollars.
A Nevada judge recently ordered the #migos member to cough up nearly $700,000 in damages for slapping a former valet driver back in 2018.
The incident happened at the Encore Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas where plaintiff Antonio Henry worked. Video footage shows the plaintiff getting into a physical altercation with Quavo, real name Quavious Keyate Marshall, 33, and several of his entourage members before the “Avalanche” artist is seen striking Henry across the face.

Quavo’s attorney argued that Henry wasn’t seriously injured during the altercation and was instead pursuing what he called a “hip-hop lotto ticket.” However, a jury disagreed. Quavo was found liable and ordered to pay Henry $682,000 in compensatory and punitive damages for his physical and emotional injuries.
It does not appear Quavo has spoken publicly about the case at this time
