Tiffany Haddish Pleads w/ Judge To Postpone DUI Trial For ‘Significant Personal & Financial Commitment’ In Morocco
Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish requested that her DUI trial be pushed back.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, the “Girls Trip” star’s lawyer claimed that she has a “significant commitment out of the country for a charitable organization during that week.”
The trial for her Georgia DUI case is set to start anytime between October 21 and October 25. The scheduling conflict is that Tiffany’s hosting gig for Fashion Trust Arabia in Marrakesh, Morocco will take place on October 23.

Her lawyer said,
“The organization is a trust/charity that was created to help young designers and entrepreneurs in the Middle East.”
And added,
“The organization is relying on Ms. Haddish for this event, and this is a significant personal and financial commitment.”
In addition to the scheduling conflict, Tiffany Haddish noted that the court had yet to rule on her second motion seeking to suppress certain evidence, which she wants handled before a trial date is set.
Reportedly, prosecutors did not fight the request and the report said the “court docket revealed the judge signed off on the plea and pushed the trial.”
As reported, Tiffany Haddish was arrested for a DUI in Georgia back in January 2022. She was released on a $1,666 bond and later entered a plea of not guilty to the charges. She was then arrested for a second DUI in November 2023 while driving in Beverly Hills, California.
Since then, the celeb has shared she’s sober.
