Corey Holcomb Defends Controversial Comments On Preferring To Date Women in Poverty, Compares ‘Strategy’ To Women Pursuing Rich Men
Corey Holcomb is standing ten toes down on his controversial stance about dating women in poverty.
Defending his remarks during an interview with TMZ, the comedian stated:
“It’s not a joke. I think it’s a great strategy, and I’m proud of it…there were a lot of people who were happy to feel good about what they do, ’cause that’s what I do—I put it out there.
Continuing:
“Dating women in poverty, that’s a humanitarian thing. There are a lot of girls who need men. I’m here for you, I’m here for you.”

Holcomb, 56, added that “women in poverty are practical people” and chastised those getting “tight in the a**” over his preference.
He furthered that his thoughts on the matter are no different from women going after wealthy men, stating:
“Really, if you think about it, I’m not doing anything wrong. If I prefer women, just like some women prefer guys who are rich, and you never hear nothing about it.”
