Cam Newton Seemingly Encourages Lil Wayne To Drop Diss Record Against Kendrick Lamar
Cam Newton is urging Lil Wayne to step into the ring.
On his 4th & 1 podcast, the former NFL star shared his thoughts on the Drake and Kendrick Lamar rivalry, saying,
“I’m a fan of Drake, but after this Kendrick beef… I look at Drake differently. I don’t think Drake has it in him to go to the places he needs to go to in order to attack Kendrick properly.”

Seemingly encouraging Lil Wayne to drop a diss track against Kendrick Lamar, he continued,
“I wanna see Lil’ Wayne… for the appreciation of the art… because Drake ain’t capable. You’re going to let this motherf***** come into your motherf***** city in motherf****** February… and you ain’t gonna drop nothing?”
This comes as the feud between Drake and Kendrick intensified this year, with both rappers releasing diss tracks, including Kendrick’s hit song “Not Like Us.”
Amid the drama, Kendrick was also announced as the 2025 Super Bowl halftime headliner, sparking frustration from fans—including Lil’ Wayne—who felt snubbed by the decision. This prompted Kendrick to address Wayne’s disappointment in his recently released track, “Wacced Out Murals.”
