Bankroll Freddie’s Father Gets Over 9 Years In Prison Just 1 Month After Rapper Sentenced to 12 1/2 Years
The father of Bankroll Freddie was sentenced to 9.5 years in federal prison by a federal judge who said the ruling was justified by “the large quantities of drugs you moved into your community.”
Freddie Gladney Jr., 57, of Oneida, was charged as the lead defendant in a 35-defendant indictment that also charged three of his sons, including rap artist “Bankroll Freddie.”
He learned his fate on Monday following an extensive FBI investigation into drug trafficking claims related to two rival street gangs: Every Body Killas, known also as “EBK,” and Loady Murder Mobb, known also as “Mobb Loady” among other names. That probe resulted in indictments charging 58 people with various drug and firearms crimes.
Last month, Bankroll Freddie received 12 1/2 years in prison for one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute marijuana, one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and one count of using a telephone in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
