New York State Considering Hotline For CEOs To Report Threats After UnitedHealthcare CEO’s M*rder
Following the tragic murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, NY officials are reportedly considering a special hotline for CEOs to report perceived threats.
Reports state that Governor Kathy Hochul hosted a high-level security meeting with 175 corporate leaders and counterterrorism officials earlier today (Dec. 17) to discuss ways to ramp up protections for executives in the wake of the attack.

Thompson was tragically murdered on December 4 in Manhattan in what appears to be an act of aggression against the healthcare and insurance industry.
Reports note, however, that there’s no evidence of widespread CEO threats, and Thompson’s alleged shooter, Luigi Mangione, is already behind bars. Critics argue that this swift action highlights just how responsive governments can be when it comes to protecting corporate elites.
