Abbott Elementary fans, get in here!
The hit ABC comedy series has officially been greenlit for a 5th season at ABC!
A report from Deadline notes that the show, created by and starring Quinta Brunson, is the first series at the network to secure its spot on the 2025-26 programming lineup.
The renewal comes after the show’s highly-rated 4th season, which included a crossover episode with FXX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The episode reportedly hit a series high in total viewers, reaching an audience of 8.05 million, along with a 2.57 rating among adults 18-49 in multi-platform viewing, “excluding the show’s post-Oscars episode last season,” according to Deadline.
