Historic Snowstorm Targets North Florida

Snow is falling in Florida, creating a rare winter spectacle across the Panhandle.

Videos and photos show snow blanketing iconic locations, including Pensacola Beach and Navarre Beach, with palm trees and beaches transformed into winter wonderlands.

Governor Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency as Winter Storm Enzo impacts road conditions, leading to closures such as the Naval Air Station Pensacola Main Gate. Temperatures are expected to plummet to 18°F, potentially breaking Florida’s snowfall record of 4 inches.

Locals and visitors are documenting the historic event with snowmen, snow angels, and time-lapse videos. The storm stretches to the Alabama border, where a winter storm warning remains in effect. Authorities urge residents to stay safe as snow continues to fall.
