NFL Player Kadarius Toney Was Arrested & Faces A$$ault Charges For Allegedly Chok*ng A Woman
Kadarius Toney is facing serious charges after authorities in Georgia arrested him last week.
According to records, the wide receiver was booked on Feb. 6 in Douglas County on two counts—aggravated assault (strangulation) and obstructing/harassing 911 calls. His bond was set at $25,000 per charge, and records show he was no longer in custody as of Feb. 7.

The charges stem from an incident in which Toney allegedly “put his hand around a woman’s throat and squeezed with enough force to cause her to be unable to breathe.” Authorities noted red marks on the woman’s neck and petechial hemorrhaging in her eyes. He also allegedly took her phone to prevent her from calling the police.
Toney was drafted in the first round by the New York Giants in 2021 before being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, where he played a key role in their Super Bowl LVII win. He spent part of last season with the Cleveland Browns but was released in December.
No statement has been released from Toney or his representatives at this time.
