Lawyer For Shannon Sharpe’s R@pe Accuser Says S*x Tape That Contains Key Evidence Won’t Be Released Publicly
Shannon Sharpe’s legal drama continues.
Tony Buzbee, the lawyer for the woman suing Sharpe under the pseudonym Jane Doe, stated that they will not be releasing the s*x tape, which allegedly holds key evidence in the case. Buzbee told TMZ,
“The only reason you know about the existence of a video recording is that Mr. Sharpe specifically referenced it in his bulls*** statement. The contents of the video were shared during the mediation process with Sharpe’s attorneys. Again, Sharpe and his team disclosed that, not us.”

He added,
“Sharpe himself was offered on more than one occasion to view it himself. He declined. We’ve never made any claims or thre@ts about it and won’t do so.”
Buzbee concluded,
“No, we won’t be releasing the video as it is key evidence in the case and will be treated as such.”
Sharpe is being sued for $50 million for alleged s*xual a$$ault, claims he denies, calling the lawsuit a “shakedown.” He recently stepped away from his role at ESPN, promising to fight the allegations.
