Exclusive: Misa Hylton, Who Recently Sued Mary J. Blige For $5 million Over Claims Singer Sabotaged Her Business Relationship w/ Vado, Has Been Dating The Rapper For Years

There might be more than just business between famed stylist Misa Hylton and rapper Vado.

theJasmineBrand exclusively reports that the pair have been dating for some time. In fact, sources tell us that Misa Hylton and Vado are a serious couple who have been together for years. This may (or may not) be a shock given the recent $5 million lawsuit Misa, her talent agency, and Vado filed against Mary J. Blige.

As reported, the plaintiffs accuse the R&B singer of sabotaging Vado’s business relationship with Misa and her agency, M.I.S.A Management. Allegedly, the multi-Grammy Award winner used her influence to isolate Vado and persuade him to break his management contract. Per the suit, Blige attempted to force Vado to sever ties with Misa by withholding his completed album until he did so.

The allegations involving this trio don’t end there. The suit claims Blige’s security chief, rumored to be her boyfriend, urged Vado to enter a new contract without legal representation present to review the document. The lawsuit adds that the man warned Vado he would “lose out on opportunities” if he stayed with M.I.S.A.

It also notes that the pressure from Blige caused Vado to experience “economic servitude.”

The plaintiffs are seeking damages for breach of contract, emotional distress, and business interference.
