Tia Mowry Reveals Why Her Reality Show ‘My Next Act’ Is Ending After 1 Season
Tia Mowry is closing the curtain on “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” confirming the We TV docuseries was always intended as a one-season journey.
“It was a limited one-time run,” she shared during a recent interview, adding, “I just wanted to open up my world just for a little bit and just share some vulnerability and vulnerable moments.”
The show chronicled Mowry’s post-divorce life, co-parenting, and rediscovery after her split from Cory Hardrict. Now, she says, “I can close that chapter and now onto the next.”
Reflecting on her healing, she shared, “Peace is something that you have to work towards…you find it in letting go and just trusting God.”
Though the series has wrapped, its NAACP Image Award nomination was a surprise highlight. “It really touched my soul,” Mowry said.
