Iran Fires Missiles At U.S. Base In Qatar, No Casualties Reported

Iran’s missile attack on the U.S. base in Qatar caused no casualties.

Qatar confirmed that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps targeted the Al Udeid Air Base, which hosts a significant U.S. military presence. Majed bin Mohammed al-Ansari, Qatar’s foreign affairs spokesperson, said on X that no one was hurt in the attack and warned that Qatar “reserves the right to respond directly in a manner proportional to the nature and scale of this blatant aggression and in accordance with international law.”

A U.S. defense official also confirmed the strike, stating:

“I can confirm that Al Udeid Air Base was attacked by short-range and medium-range ballistic missiles originating from Iran today. At this time, there are no reports of U.S. casualties. We are monitoring this situation closely and will provide more information as it becomes available.”

The missile strike followed U.S. B-2 bomber attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities over the weekend.
