Summer Walker Responds To ‘Body Shaming’ Accusations After Joking About Woman’s Cosmetic Surgery: ‘This Generation Sensitive As F**k’
Summer Walker’s lil jokey joke landed her in hot water with some of her fans.
The R&B songstress faced backlash after posting a photo of a woman, who appears to have had cosmetic work done, edited with roasted chicken legs superimposed over the image.
In a video addressing the “so many DMs” she received accusing her of body shaming, Summer responded:
“I understand that a lot of ya’ll don’t get my personality or my dark humor… I’m not body shaming. This generation sensitive as f**k.”

She continued:
“She’s bad as f**k, she looks so good. It was not in that way. It was funny because it’s ridiculous… It has nothing to do with the girl!”
The woman in the image allegedly responded to the post, saying she plans to “reverse it.”
Do you think Summer’s post warranted criticism, or was it just a joke taken too seriously?
