Diddy Trial Jury Reaches Verdict On 4 Of 5 Charges + Deadlocked On Racketeering Charge
After 12 hours of deliberation, jurors have reached a unanimous verdict on four out of five charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs—but remain split on the most serious charge: racketeering.
The panel agreed on charges related to s*x trafficking and transportation for prostitution, but deliberations continue on the racketeering count. Prosecutors have requested Judge Arun Subramanian issue an Allen charge to urge consensus, but Combs’ attorneys oppose that, preferring continued deliberation without added pressure.
The indictment, filed in September 2024, accused Combs of leveraging his business empire to facilitate a racketeering conspiracy, allegedly coercing women—like exes Cassie Ventura and a woman known as “Jane”—into orchestrated sex acts dubbed “Freak Offs” and “Hotel Nights.”
Cassie testified while 8.5 months pregnant, describing ab*se in vivid detail. Prosecutors called 34 witnesses over 29 days. Meanwhile, Combs’ defense claimed all acts were consensual, citing text messages and other evidence.
Combs has been jailed since the trial began in May.
