Following news of Hulk Hogan’s passing at 71, social media has erupted with mixed reactions. ?
While some are mourning the WWE legend, others are openly celebrating due to his past racist behavior.
Hogan has been criticized on several occasions for making racially charged remarks. In 2015, things came to a head when he was caught on tape using the N-word multiple times while discussing his daughter’s dating life, saying he didn’t want her dating a Black man and admitting,
“I guess we’re all a little racist.”
The incident led to WWE cutting ties with him and removing him from the Hall of Fame.

While some are using the moment to justify celebrating Hogan’s passing, others are defending the wrestling icon, arguing that no one’s death should be celebrated, no matter their past.
