Prosecutors Are Recommending 11 Years & 3 Months in Prison for Sean “Diddy” Combs
Federal prosecutors are asking a judge to sentence Sean “Diddy” Combs to 11 years and 3 months in prison, arguing the music mogul spent years abusing his power, manipulating women, and coercing them into sex acts.

The request follows his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, though he was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
In a new sentencing memo, prosecutors detail testimony from two women — referred to as Ventura and Jane — who described being pressured into participating in “Freak Offs” and “Hotel Nights,” encounters arranged by Combs that often involved drugs, escorts, and cameras. Both women said he used threats, financial control, and physical violence to keep them trapped.
The government argued the abuse was not isolated but part of a years-long pattern that left lasting trauma. They asked the court to apply multiple sentencing enhancements, reject leniency, and impose maximum financial penalties, stressing that a long prison term is necessary to reflect the severity of the crimes.
Combs, 55, is scheduled to be sentenced next week in Manhattan federal court, where Judge Arun Subramanian will decide his fate.
