Deion Sanders To Undergo ‘Four-Hour’ Procedure For Blood Clots, Hopes To Be ‘Right Back’ To Coaching By Wednesday

The Colorado head football coach has announced he’ll undergo a roughly “four-hour” procedure today (Oct. 7) to treat blood clots. “It has nothing to do with me working at the level … It’s hereditary,” he said. “I trust God with all my heart, all my soul, and all my mind.”
Deion, who hopes to be “right back” to work by tomorrow (Oct. 8), remains optimistic about a full recovery, thanking supporters and saying, “I’m gonna be alright.”
