Kim Kardashian is raising concerns that Ray J’s explosive allegations could threaten her long-term goal of becoming a licensed attorney.

According to newly filed legal documents obtained by TMZ, Kardashian claims her ex’s public accusations — including suggestions of racketeering — have caused serious reputational harm. Last May, Ray J stated, “racketeering charges against the Kardashians would be appropriate” and added, “If you told me that the Kardashians were being charged for racketeering, I might believe it.”

Months later, he escalated the claims during a livestream, saying, “The federal RICO I’m about to drop on Kris and Kim is about to be crazy” and “the feds is coming,” calling it “worse than Diddy.”

In response, Kim and Kris Jenner filed a defamation lawsuit. In her declaration, Kim said, “When [Ray J] made these allegations about me and my mother, he had absolutely no basis to make them.” She emphasized, “I have never been contacted by a government authority or agency.”

Kardashian also shared personal concerns, stating, “I had to have tough conversations with my kids about the lies.” Regarding her legal ambitions, she wrote, “I feared that [Ray J’s] accusations would put my dreams of becoming an attorney in jeopardy.”

The legal battle remains ongoing.
