Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert’s Adult Son Arrested, Facing Multiple Felony Charges Related To Alleged S3xual Exploitation Of A Child

Tyler Boebert, the 21-year-old son of Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert, was arrested Sunday, Aug. 9, in Garfield County, Colorado, on a string of felony charges tied to alleged child s3xual exploitation. According to court records, the charges include child s3xual exploitation to induce or entice a minor, s3xual exploitation of a child, possession with intent, s3xual exploitation involving video, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, with the alleged offense dated Jan. 1, 2024. A warrant for Tyler’s arrest was issued Aug. 7, with bond set at $10,000. After settling the bail, Tyler was released the same day. He’s due back in court Aug. 19.

The arrest lands just weeks before Tyler faces sentencing in two unrelated cases. He’s set to be sentenced Sept. 4 in Weld County after pleading guilty to one count of negligence without injury in a 2025 child abuse case, with a second charge dismissed. A separate Sept. 10 sentencing in Garfield County stems from a February 2024 arrest connected to a series of vehicle trespasses and property thefts. The Boebert family has yet to address Tyler’s latest arrest.
